How to Update AVG Anti-Virus

There are several ways to update the AVG program:

1. Run the AVG User Interface (double-click the AVG icon on your desktop or double-click the AVG icon in the System Tray next to the clock).

• Click on the Update now button in the left part of the AVG user interface.
• Or open the Tools menu and select the Update option.

2. Right-click the AVG icon in the System Tray next to the clock and select the Update now option.

Megabytes recommends setting the AVG automatic update option to “Every 4 Hours” for your safety.
